What is included in a full days wedding photography?
For a full day this typically starts with the bride and groom getting ready, then we arrive at the church to capture you getting out of your vehicle, the ceremony and leaving, then on to your reception. During this time we can include any requested group images. You are welcome to provide a list of group shots you would like.
When you charge by the hour what happens if we go over the specified time?
No charge is made if we need to stay a little over time, for weddings this tends to happen quite a lot but we will not charge you extra unless more hours are requested before the date.
How long until I get my prints?
If it is prints only we usually ask you to allow up to 5 days processing time and then delivery of prints 3-5 working days after your payment is received.
What happens with the photographs after our wedding day?
Firstly your images are backed up and sorted to make sure we have plenty of copies of the digital negative. Then your photographer will go through all the images and upload them to your private album online and any editing will be done.
You then meet with the photographer, unless purchasing a DVD of images, to go through which prints you would like in your album or design your digital album or book.
Is there a booking fee and how much is it ?
Yes, the standard booking fee is £100 this is due on return of your contract and will secure your chosen date. The remainder of the fee is then due 4 weeks before your day.
How many pages are there in an album?
This can vary, it can start from 10 giving 20 sides and we can then add extra pages if required, this should be decided before your day however you may add to this when previewing your images.
You offer traditional and digital albums, what is the difference?
The traditional album is one where your images are printed then placed into a post bound or book bound album. The digital is exactly that, images are arranged then approved by you, they are then sent to one of our trusted suppliers and your story book is created.
When should I pay for my photo shoot?
For portraits payment is due for your sitting before the date you have booked. For weddings a booking fee is required to secure your date and then the remainder is due a minimum of 4 weeks before your day.
Can I ask for certain shots on my wedding day?
You are encouraged to tell your photographer of any group shots or poses you would like photographed.
Can we have a Hi resolution DVD of images to print ourselves?
Yes you can, this option is not readily advertised but it can be added to your chosen album or prints if desired.
Do we have a choice of albums?
Because we stick with trusted suppliers we can offer a range of albums without choice being overwhelming. Our digital albums come with a choice of covers and in several sizes.
What other printing options do we have?
As well as Albums, you can choose, Canvas, Sized prints in a mount frame, web ready images, parent albums, mini Albums or our popular box of prints
